Congratulations to COGS for hosting such a fantastic Glow Ride on 22nd October
COGS brought together 35 cyclists in the first ever COGS Salisbury Glow Ride. Amazingly it stayed dry for the whole event.
The ride was started off by Councillor Jenny Bolwell, the 765th Mayor of Salisbury, and her consort Tom Corbin.
This was a bright and colourful cycle ride around the streets and parks of Salisbury with a line up outside the Cathedral – what a memorable event and well done to COGS. Special thanks go to the local organiser Peter Durnan and all the cyclists who checked the route and marshalled on the night.
The Glow rides were set up by Cycling UK My Ride. Our Right to celebrate women’s cycling to shine a light on the need for safer streets and better cycle routes.
