You are invited to attend to have your say at a public drop-in event to find out more about Wiltshire Council’s Salisbury Transport Strategy and the proposals being developed to shape the future of travel in the city. We want Wiltshire Council to prioritise improvements in walking and cycling infrastructure, Park & Ride enhancements, improvements to bus reliability and priority, as well as making streets safer and more accessible for those walking, wheeling and cycling.
The drop-in event will take place at Salisbury’s City Hall on Tuesday 21 April, from 12pm to 8pm.
Background: Wiltshire council is updating the Salisbury Transport Strategy, which was last refreshed in 2018. Since then, national and local transport policies have changed, new walking and cycling plans have been produced, and travel patterns have shifted following the pandemic. As a result, the strategy is being reviewed to ensure it reflects Salisbury’s current and future transport needs.
